I removed my cup holder shifter part, and im having trouble removing the gauges/cubby hole console part. I removed all the visible screws. Do i just rip it off?

It should lift out from the top now (if you really have gotten all the screws. A couple are hidden under the AC controls - those lift out from the bottom)- careful of the top wire for the gauges.

There's a thread with pics that would help - have a search.

Did you get the two screws behind the cubby?

this should help: http://liljerk.morpheus.net/350Z/dash_removal/

Once you get all the screws out, you have to give a slight tug on the top edge of the center console. This will dislodge the center console and from there, you get maybe 6" of slack in the triple gauge cable, reach around and press on the clip which is on the side facing the windshield.

Lower the console some and disconnect the radio, etc.

Recommend you leave the cubby door UP so that if you have to lay the console down as part of your work, the shift lever won't scratch the door.
