allowed to take off lemon sticker?
I'm hoping this is considered to be "exterior and interior"...
Am I allowed to take off the lemon law sticker thing on my door jamb? it's kind of annoying. I mean, is it legal or not?

yes, i think so. I found this via google:
"By California law, the first time a lemon buyback is resold at the retail level, it must have one-year factory warranty to cover defects and cannot legally be sold "as is." The law requires that the car's title state that it is a "lemon law buyback" and the car must have a "lemon" sticker on the door jamb. When lemon buybacks are illegally sold "as is," the buyer still has rights under the Lemon Law."
Does this mean it has to stay on forever, or just when it's sold?

Sounds like to me the sticker is there so you know what you are buying. The title states the lemon law buy back stuff , and there's is no penalty for removing it - i.e. you don't lose any rights. I believe you can remove it.

are you talking about where it shows the year of the car, the vin, tires sizes that go in the front and back, and other info about the car? Im pretty sure that there is no law against taking a sticker off your car. I think the only information that you arent suppost to remove is the vin # etched into your engine bay.

LOL
@ zerafian, nope that is not what I'm talking about. There is a bright yellow-colored sticker that says LEMON LAW BUYBACK or something similar. It does not have the VIN on it.
hahaha i'm not taking off my vin

no, i still have the warranty and I got the 4 year bumper to bumper also.
lemon was good since they had just replaced the engine. I wanted a vq35de then, since I thought there would be more potential for it (more parts, TT kits, etc.). I had researched before all the parts for the HR showed up, so mehhhh. There was a base 07 at the same dealer, same price, but I chose the 06 because of those reasons. ohnoes. :'(
