Do the door handle (silver part where you open the door from inside with) and the window switch panels from a 03-05 work with the 06-08 door panels?

I've done an LED conversion on 06 door controls. The boards look exactly the same as 03 - 05. That's not saying for sure that they would work. When I tested them on my 05, they had the same plugs and lit up fine. I think I tested the switches but am not totally positive.

For the interior door release, I would check with a dealer or go to www.courtesyparts.com and compare the drawings in the parts section. I expect they would be the same but it's possible they changed the way the cables connect to the release.

Scroll about 1/2 way down on the first page of the thread linked below and see the pictures of how to disconnect the cables from the interior release on an 06 - 08 model.

This is the exact same set up as my 05.

I think the only thing you might have trouble with putting 03 - 05 door / window switch assemblies in is that the 06 - 08 maybe shaped slightly differently than the 03 - 05.

You might find a dealer with an 03 - 05 on the lot, look at the shape of the control module and compare to the 06 -08.

the silver door release part is the same...but the window switch plastics are different...the actual buttons are the same but the plastics no.
