Default Bodykits with stock wheels

bought the bodykit and now i'm going towards performance than getting wheels+drop.

i'm contemplating about putting the kit on or not, because i think it's gonna look odd having a bodykit on stock wheels.

anyone care to share pics of installed kits with stock wheels?

thnx

It really all depends on which kit you're thinking about. You can't get a really aggressive kit like the Veilside widebody for example (which is just straight up ugly) and have stock wheels. In order to pull of the stock wheel look, your bodykit has to be very simple and clean. This is my car when I had my stock wheels with Veilside lip and sides.

I take off my V1 lip when I have to put my stockers on. But I have version 1 touring wheels and they're lame; Calin's still looks good.

well, i think aggressive bodykits requires wheels to complement them, otherwise the whole car looks ugly..

lips might look ok, but if you change the whole bumper for something else, then that's a different story.

veilside lip + side underwings are ok on stockers.. but i doubt the TS diffuser is gonna look anywhere near nice..

even blitz spoiler is gonna be fine, but Nismo v2 will be way off..

I wanted something to look pretty mild like it could have come from the factory.

If you can, I would hold off until you can get better wheels before you get a bodykit.

That's just my view.

i have a full nismo v2 kit and just put my stocks back on for the winter. i got tired of wiping down the volks everyday to keep the water spots from staining the clear coat. considering getting some rotas for winter wheels since it doesnt stop raining.

May is right around the corner, I would just wait.

It can prevent you from buying something now and then deciding a little bit later that it wasn't the right choice for you.

Especially with the prices that wheels are going for these days because of the economy, there are some really nice deals.

If you have not already bought the bodykit my advice is to wait till you can get the wheels. In the meantime you can use that money to upgrade the drivetrain. Then when you get the kit & wheels you will be able to back up your new agressive look!!!!!!
