Hi,

I have a question for all of you guys with aftermarket bumpers or sideskirts. I purchased USDM Nismo Sideskirts, and a Aerosync Front Bumper. It seems as though the first paintjob isn't holding up very well and I am not pleased with the quality.

My question is, for those with aftermarket bumpers, is it possible to strip the paint and repaint the front and sides without buying them new again to get repainted? Or is there an easier way to get them redone without stripping the paint?

A quality shop will sand to the surface, prime and paint.
A “We paint any car any color for $399" shop will ruff up the surface and paint.

^^true. i prepped my own car for paint and we sanded down to the material then primered.

the cheaper route would be to "scuff" the surace paint and then spray the primer over it followed by the paint and clear
