Can anyone tell WTF these things are for? They came with a CF interior trim kit and the paper that came with it says these are for the steering wheel, but I cannot figure out where. I thought maybe the underside of the silver plate where the stereo/cruise controls were, but no dice. Any ideas?

 

who sells the trim kit, because if they are for the steering wheel they have the wrong shape

 

Is this the steering wheel trim kit from the Z store? you are right, they go under the steering wheel where the cruise control is. If you turn the steering wheel upside down you will see where they attach.

 

I believe it's from the Z Store. My wife got me the set for Xmas, so I am not totally sure. I thought it was for the spot you're talking about, but the gap doesn't fit, I would have to wedge it under the plastic.

Oh well, you're probably right and I thought it was that, but when it didn't just "fit", I thought it was something else. Also, not sure why they didn't just make one piece that wrapped all the way around.

 

i believe it may go on your center console? ash tray?
