Those flexible LED strips are cool... Wonder if one could make a cheap but nice looking turn signal mod to the wing mirrors.

And damn those Q45's are expensive! Wonder how much an entire headlamp for that car is new from the dealer, probably like $2K! And I thought our headlamps were overpriced...

I wouldn't want to spend $845+ to experiment...in for pics for the difference in illumination tho. Dunno if such a high cost for the price of the lights and mods would justify a trade-off in visibility/function...

Looks like a fun project! Keep up the good work!

Maybe you'll inspire me to get off my *** and put the set of TL projectors I have lying around in my 03's headlights

Hey OP, seems like you beat me to this project! I got a pair of q45 projectors and alot of carbon fiber just waiting for a new set of headlights.

I recommend vacuum molding the shroud of ABS plastic to get a smooth finish!

Update: I just got the spare 350z housing in the mail today. I promptly took it apart!

Tomorrow at the shop I will begin making decisions on how to fit the Q45 into the housing. I also think I have figured out what I'm going to do for the high beam.

Use turnsignal as make shift highbeams and mount your turnsignal into the sidestrips.

Also alternative to the demon eye is to paint the shield just behind the lens the color you want. EVO comes stock with turquoise painted shields
