That's kinda what I was wondering about. I guess its more of a dry carbon "look" instead of the real thing, hence the cheaper price?
On the matte stuff. They make real "dry" products as well. There was thread on here awhile back about it. I think Intense carries them. Much more expensive than the matte or wet.

dry carbon is a completely different game... that shyt looks amazing... that matte finish shyt just looks incomplete lol
I'm wanting in the worst way to put on a CF hood and save all that weight, but I'm a little freaked by all the disclaimers stating "This will NOT be a direct fit". Does anyone have advice on the ease of installation of different brands? At $750 counting shipping, I don't want to have to shell out for installation.
