Default Clear Bra and Air Duct ?'s

Ok I have ordered a clear bra, and my carbon fiber air duct for the front bumper. My questions are witch should I install first? Do you have to take the bumper off to install the air duct, or can it be rivited on without doing that? Also exactly how hard is it to put the clear bra's on yourself? What should I use to clean and prep the bumper? Sorry for all the questions at once, but any info and tips are greatly appreciated, as I really don't wanna mess my car up.

Put the clear bra on first and install the air duct second. You don't need to take the bumper off to install the duct - you just need to cut through the bumper and rivet it in place. So if you install the clear bra first, cutting through the bumper will also cut through the exact portion of the clear bra you need to remove. Installing the bra after the duct would be a mess.

clear bra is quite difficult to apply yourself. do you have any experience tinting or applying overlays?

I have seen the clear bra installed professionally. Never a self-install. Hope this works out.

I did my first clear bra myself, a royal PITA. When I had to have some
vandalism repaired, I opted to have a professional do it. Not worth my time
or effort to do it a 2nd time. When I say "royal" PITA, I'm understating
the pain and *** part.

I did try to tint my ford escort windows 1 time, but it didn't go over very well. I might just go ahead and send it back and go have it done. Just didn't wanna have to pay the extra 120.

I would cut the hole and have it ready for the air duct then clear bra. After the bra, slide in the duct and secure.

you could probably take the clear bra to a shop and have them install it, instead of sending it back

I actually called about that today, and for some reason I don't think he understood what I was talking about, because he kept saying that it was 250-300 installed out the door, no matter if I bought one from him or me taking him the one I bought.

Yeah, I wish that I could. He is the only person that does it in the town I live in. An I can't seem to find anyone else thats close. Is 250 to install the front bumper to much? Thats 250 for the bra and install.

def install the duct first and then take it to a professional to apply the clear bra... they will cut around the duct (i had this done on my old bumper):

...after watching Aerotect install the bra on my new V2 (took about 2.5 hrs), it def does not look easy and if you have no previous experience installing it will probably look like a$$ if you attempt to do it yourself.
