Besides, the OP isn't spoiled. He pays for all his own stuff.

Still waiting on OP's response on how he affords these cars.

You are right about A, as for B I don't think a Mafia hitman would take a gay "myspace" mirror picture so I am going to go with C!

Dude I work at cracker barrel. I never owned a supra I just had pics of it cause i was posting them on the sti forum. But, here you go; I bought the STI when I first worked at zaxbys which was a big mistake cause I was hurting for money when I did that. I paid 19k for the car and put down about $3500 from the mx bike I had sold -which I bought from working at dairy queen when I was 14 and paying 217.00 a month on that. My car payment for the STI was $377 a month. I maybe made a little bit over $400 a month there working part time. I drove the STI for a year and sold that for 20k, so i made 1k off of it. Then I saw the nismo for sale for a really good deal and I went and picked that up. I put 4k down on that and my payments for that are $390 a month. Its honestly not too bad now cause I make about $1000 a month at cracker barrel and the insurance in my parents name is only $720 every 6 months. In all honestly, I know I am very fortunate to have and had such nice cars at such a young age, I could not have had any of these cars without my parents because they did take the loan out in their name, but I have and always will pay for EVERYTHING towards the cars. Car payment, insurance, maintenance, repairs, mods, whatever. My parents feel that I deserve to have nice things because I have always done good in school-I graduated with honors- and I am pretty decently well behaved teenager. I have the Nismo for sale cause I plan on moving out soon and I am in training right now for the Navy SEALS, and there will be more important things to pay for than a nice car when I am out on my own. But, there you go. If you believe it then cool, but if not, I promise i wont lose any sleep over it

Translation, OOOHHH chit, betta lay off or he's gonna go Ninja Assassin on all our *****... I betta start locking my doors at nite.

Let's talk when u make it past basic/A-school kid and BUDS... Nothing against you (and honestly, mad props and respect for wanting to join the military in the first place) but most spoiled kids I've seen, can't hack it, not in an MOS like that... The moment a DI starts screaming in their face, they go crying home to mommy. I mean, good luck, honestly, and hopefully u do make it... but it's easier to say than to do. (BTW: USAF 4+ yrs and counting)

Oh hell no, I know its gonna be harder than ****. Going into BUDS and getting through hell week will probably be the hardest thing I ever have to do and I know that my chances of succeeding are not very high. There is only a 12% pass rate in the Georgia, Flordia, and Alabama demographic area and trust me, I do not think by any means that it will be easy. I passed the PST for SEALS first try without any real conditioning and my ASVAB score is exceptionally high but i know there is alot of determination required to make it all the way through, and the PST is just the beginning. All I know is that i am going to give it my best shot and we will see if it is good enough. Thanks for the encouragement though.

That makes more sense. Your parents signed for the loan and put the insurance in their name. So all you have is a car payment and an old folk insurance rate. Now think about how ridiculous it sounded when you were making it out as if you did it yourself. There is nothing wrong with your parents helping you out, but just be real when you are telling us that you are 18 and have a Nismo.

Good luck in the military

Has the rapage stopped?

OP, good luck in the military...Take things lightly here, we like to have a good time with members who are 18 owning a 30k car because most are douche bags who mooch then say they do it all themselves...

*PS we still never got those pics of gf/sister.

I'm 26, make 50k+ a year and I get all happy when I have a few hundred to throw towards getting new rotors and pads...

I'm 32, and also make 50k+ a year and my Z is sitting there with a busted lip and a dented fender from where an idiot hit it with their door while I save a little from each paycheck to get a ASM bumper and new fender. If I didn't have any bills I could work a little overtime and cover that in 2 checks.

I'm sure its awesome having a Nismo, though I would have taken that Supra anyday at 18. Enjoy it.

Seriously though, have you ever thought about how much that car would be costing you if you had no help? You couldn't have gotten the loan by yourself in the first place, but if you got lucky and found someone to do it, your interest rate would be through the roof and the term on the loan would be shorter, so payments would be much higher. Insurance would be 300 a month. By the time you put gas in it and stopped to get a burger your whole check would be gone.

OP, ASVAB and your conditioning level have nothing to do with you passing a-school and buds. You gotta have heart. Spent four years in the Army myself and went through SF selection. Made it through and got selected but couldn't go to school cause I jacked up my hip in the process. Even if you pass, you still aren't guaranteed a spot.

Not to be nit picky, but how did you pay for your own insurance if you had a car payment of $377 and you only made a little over $400 a month? You would have had to made $500 a month just to cover the payment and insurance. Then you have to add gas and basic maintenance on top of that.

Seriously, good luck with the SEALS.

^ Haha story of my life... (although, my interest is high cuz I'm dumb lol, but my term is short because I CHOSE to have a 4 year loan, not because the bank made me, they wanted to give me a 6)

And yeah man, 22 and about 50-60k a year... and the money seems to evaporate. Half of what my car has was my reenlistment bonus lol (see above: "im dumb", shouldve paid the loan off instead ... self facepalm) the rest of what I have done, I saved up for across the span of many months of starving haha
