Default Sparco Shift ****

Anyone used any of their shift ***** on the Z? And yes, I know we have an ultimate shift **** thread, but I didn't see any sparcos. I'm thinking one of these three.

looks great but it sounds like it's not threaded so you'll be constantly re tightening it...also i wonder if it's weighted or not...you should check out zeetoyz weighted shift ****..i have it and it's a HUGE improvement being weighted and also has a great feel in the palm.

absolute +1 on the re-tightening comment above. I ordered a Sparco **** that looked great, but it came with a plastic sleeve that goes over the existing threads on the shifter, with an aluminum adapter that attached to the plastic sleeve via set screws. Long story short, I was never able to get the **** tight; it wobbled around and eventually came off in my hand on a hot day (the plastic sleeve got soft).

The **** itself was of good quality and looked ok, but in the end function outweighed form.

Sorry for the long response, I just throught I'd share my experience

Sparco ***** are incredibly over rated...I had one in my old car and they just feel cheap. Plus the fact that they use allen (spelling?) key screws sucks because I'm always retightening them to keep it from rattling.

Right now i'm looking at picking up a TWM Performance shift ****. They look sick, and from what ive heard, the quality is supposed to be retarded.

Thanks for the replies. I think the Forged **** is probably the way to go especially if I could get a used one for around $80.
