I custom painted/ added demon eyes/ did projecotr retrofits, etc. for dozens of people on IS300.net so I decided to get a set of test lights and do the 350Z since I am getting one soon... looks killer!

Yeah, I think they are small neon (*not sure*) rings around the projector lenses on BMWs (at least that's where I see 'em most) - they look like they glow bluish/white! I think they look great and they would match my "Custom Ares" white reflector LEDs !!!! I'm keepin' my ear to the ground on this one!

The words "angel eyes" and "demon eyes" are trendy and used by bandwagon modders, the same null-minded folk who put GT-R badges on Mustangs.
Angel Eyes typically refer to the white colored rings.
Demon Eyes typically refer to the red colored rings.
The factory rings being used on BMW's are known as CELIS which stands for CEntral LIghting Systems, this is because the system uses ONE halogen bulb to illuminate the entire prismatic ring assembly and various other components of the lighting unit.
There are shoddy versions being copied and mass-marketed for the extremely popular and over-saturated markets (civic, integra, etc), they are being manufactured by the same companies who are well-known for degrading stylish products which were initially high-quality such as the factory altezza tail lights.
As for the products you see on our site, we call them high-intensity LED rings -- plain and simple. No marketing, no trend.

The kit I use is not a cheap LED based unit, its all latest generation fiber optics.
I have a set of G35 lights on the bench right now having projectors retrofitted, halos will be easy to add
