I guess most people do it for looks. Weightwise, it makes more sense to hit the gym, a better way to make the Z lighter since the total weight of the car includes the body weight, a fact most guys ignore.

But I took mine off because I didn't like the chance that if I accidentally turned on my rear wiper with my bike rack on there, then I was going to break something, not sure what, but it would be bad
