is it just me or does the 03 350z have you useless in dash cup holder?

the cup holder doesn't come out all of the way so that i can put a drink in it. is it broken or is that just how they are? if they are just like that i don't even see why the put a damn cup holder in there if you cant even use it.

 

i assume its broken, and they arent cheap to replace, about 50 bucks.

haha mine cant hold ****. the damn dash is in the way and then when you pull it to comes right out of the dash. im just going to fix it now that i know its not broke and didnt come like that.

 

The dash holder is the perfect size for a cocktail glass, I normally keep the rum and coke there to make the drive home from meets more interesting.

yea when i saw that i couldnt use my cup holder i started to think what was the point of them putting in a cup holder if i cant even put a drink in that damn thing.

 

i love that cupholder.....except for when i make a quick turn and it dumps my drink.

Holds my coffee mug on the way to work in the morning without problem.

 

the cupholders in the doors of my 06' are even more worthless.

Agreed. Only problem is if you have the air conditioning on it tends to cool the coffee. I use the cup holder every day. Put my travel mug in it and push the cup holder in a bit, so the mug is semi-secure.
