you can get away with the 5mm slip ons without changing the studs(some may disagree)... I ran the 5mm ebay slip ons without a problem for a year with 0 problems until i changed wheels... Just make sure you have everything torqued down to spec...

Thanks man. All I needed was another opinion before I risked putting these on my car. Ill put them on tomorrow and see how she rides.

its cool man, everyone has different opinions on it. I can tell you this tho, the ones that tell you not to run a universal 5mm probably never ran em. I did and they've held up great for months till i switched setup.

like sdZ33 said, make sure to torque it down with a torque wrench. Try to have it as centered as possibe (common sense, when hand tightening the lugs, use your other hand to keep the spacer centered). Then drive it around and in a week recheck the torque settings. If it's still good then your done worrying about it.

If you don't mind me asking, how much did a shop charge to paint the lip? Did they charge any extra because it's CF? You can PM if you want. Thanks!

Amazing what a couple inches of lip in front can do for the whole profile of the car.
Kills that hint of "blunt and cute" that can be associated with the Z.

Careful on them driveways....my v1 has scraped the bottom of plenty of places in SD. See you around pizzato.

I scrape just leaving my driveway now lol. Contemplated raising it a little, but the look is worth a few scrapes and driving slower and more careful, so Im leaving it.

Definitely don't go any higher than you are. The V1 looks great, but it is a PITA... mine used to scrape if I looked at it wrong.

color matched lip really gives it a 'finished' look.

I love em. I'm always keeping an eye open for a used set.

Is your Z Nogaro or Redline?
