Default trunk leak

hey guys. I recently have purchased an 08 NISMO 350z (#834). I was installing my subs and speakers from my old 04 enthusiast and found some pooled water under the wheel well. I did search the forums and only found 1 similar post and it turned out ot be another area. I have taken out the entirety of the trunk and found where the leak is. It is from the driver side trunk air vent. I can't see the vent from under the car and was wonderinf if anyone else has had a similar problem. The passenger side does not leak so I am curious if there is like a cowl or something over it missing on one side. Anyone know if removing the light will let me see it better? Should I just cover that vent? I won't lie other than internal air I am not sure what the point of that vent is in general. Any input would help. If pics are needed I can get some but I ran inside before taking them to see if anyone else had some ideas on what to do.

Hi,

I just found today that my 350z has a leak from the passenger vent in the back. I was wondering if you were able to fix the problem.

Crypticsage,

Did you end up fixing the leak? I'm leaking from the same location except that it's from the passenger side

Thank you

Please let me know how it goes. on mine, water is coming in not through the edges of the vent but from the vent itself.
