Is it a pure white (what im looking for) or a white with a slite yellowish to it?
Planing on getting this kit:
http://www.hid-online.com/products/kit.asp?id=20

the short answer is that 4100k is slightly on the warm (red) end of the scale. clear noontime sun is about 5500k. but 4100-4500k is the best HID as far as light output. the higher color temps use a blue filter to artifically raise the color temp. filter = blocked light. the blue effect you see on OEM HID lights is a prismatic effect from the projector lens.

Go with phillips over Catz.
