A year ago I went to my local stealership and told them I wanted a cover for my 07 roadster. No problem but it's a special order, he says, and you can't return it. The item came in quickly, and the cost was 117.98. The cover is grey and has Nissan written on it but not 350z. It has the mirror and antenna pockets but it is very hard to put on and is especially tight atound the bottom. The sheet with the cover says genuine nissan parts but lists all models. The invoice states the part # is 999N2-VO24T and the price was 117.98. The installation picture has a drawing of the cover being installed on a 3550Z coupe. Did they give me the wrong item?
I'm not happy with the cover and have it listed on Ebay for $70.00 delivered.

Sounds like you got more of a "universal" than "custom" cover, but I don't know what Nissan dealers typically sell. I've been buying covers here for as long as I can remember (like 20 years): www.bigskycarcovers.com
I'm in FL, too, and if you want a cover for outdoor use, get a Noah.

The dealer ordered the wrong cover, return it to them and insist that they order the right one.
If they can't get you the right one order the cover from the Zstore.com. The OEM cover is poor quality if you park it outside and it wont fit once you start modifying the exterior.
