new paint after care ??

what are the general guidlines to after care once you get a new paint job.
how long till you can wash it wax it keep it out of the elements ect?
any tips would be apprciated

just don't wax it for a month.

i was told i can wash it about 24 hours after the paint cured (baked in a booth), and not to wax for 3 months, but i hear mixed things on the waxing

yeah i just got my bumper and hood freshly painted, he said I could wash/polish it but not to wax for at least 3 months.
Has to do with the paint drying from the outside in or something
