You can't make them look any better on th car by powercoating them. Save your money for other modificaton. Take them off the car. ( Disclaimer; It's your car, make it look however you want)

Billet grills almost always look cheap and never seem to fit perfect. Save your time and money. Replace that "Hood Rat" grill with a stocker since you have a real car not some 4cyl FWD econocar. BTW congrats on the ride.

just ditch the grill and get a real aftermarket bumper or just leave it alone

I say take it off if it isnt going to leave gaping holes in your bumper. Save dough for new front bumper!!!

OP = Liar. How hard is it to take off and leave off? Instead... he wants to take it off, powdercoat, and remount.

I'd call around to some part suppliers and junkyards. I'm sure some idiot kid in your area has wrecked a Z in some point.

Poor guy just wanted to know what a painted billet grill would look like and he got flamed. I think there are worse mods out there personally... like aftermarket hoods heavier than OEM with a crappy fit or 20" wheels. To each their own.

For the record, I don't own a billet grill.

Probably would be a better idea to just remove it entirely.

Lol my Z came with a billet grill of some sort, I actually like it, looks better than stock. (Im a fan of the stock body lines so I'll keep my bumper)

Was thinking about PC'ing it as well due to come rock chips. I say go for it and post pictures.

There are plenty of things people won't like about your car no matter what so *** em and do what you want.

The gawdy strech tire fad is 1000x worse than a billet grille lol.
