Default Painting my own bumper!

Hey guys,

Recently got into an accident and bought a new front bumper. I know of a few places that I could get it painted, but was wondering how it would turn out if I did it myself. Not cheaping out, but Im a DIY guy and love working on my car. I just want to try it out since I can order the paint from automotive paint, where Ive bought touch up paint before, and the match was spot on. Ive painted quite a few headlights, door handles, and wheels, so I was wondering if it would turn out decent and actually last a while. Any input would be great, thanks.

Its not that hard but by the time its prepped painted wet sanded and buffed i would just assume let somebody else do it. Mine is down the street getting a fresh coat due to rock chips and was only charged 200 bucks. For that price i will let them deal with it instead of getting dust or a hair in the paint and ruining my day from not having a booth. If you like having fun in the garage then I say go for it, it can always be redone
