is it me or our body kits are not too impressive
great info swifty=)
z1 performance- i totally agree about what you said here-"What I love in a kit is something that accentuates the stock lines, makes it a bit sleeker yet more muscular in appearance, while at the same time not spoiling the cars good looks"
havabooz..hmm i think they should work with the open area of the front first since it's plain & simple ?(don't get me confused, it looks great as it is-but something to make clark kent look like superman-once again bad analogy but get my drift)..nismo put a line across the front grill to fill some gap in some sense...they were working with the area not destroying the area=)<--it's late so i'm probably gonna be rambling lol.

i have to agree on that one
body kits dont do it for me. i bought the car because i like the way it looked the way it is. i dont remember saying "hey the 350z would look sweet with a hippity dippity body kit on it!!"
most bodykits aim to bubble up the car (if you will). like a car with cancer (again if you will). some bodykits need to come with a warning sticker "WIDE LOAD" because of how far past the car lines they go.
boats not floating there....actually this battleship has been sunk when it comes to bodykits.
heh...just my .02 anyway, thats my final answer.

1. Greddy
2. Nismo
3. VS ver1
4. CWEST
5. Vertex
6. TommyK
There's a bunch of kits I dont like, but the above 6 I think are really cool. I give extra props to the greddy.
The Z is 1 year old and already 20 kits are out there...pretty good IMO.
I'll prolly get a greddy kit b4 an exhaust.
That said, the stock lines are great!

I chose Kaminari because I didn't want to alter the overall appearance of the car. I think the kit merely accentuates the strong points of the original design.
The front lip extends the side line of the car; the side skirts accentuate the sleekness of the car; and the rear skirt merely moves the bottom line down to a symmetrical point with the side lines.
I attended a BMW driving school a couple of weeks ago and the members and instructors raved about the kit; they thought it was a factory option, which they liked a lot better than stock.

oopps!
sorry man, I forgot all about the kami kit.
Thats a great one. I love the rear spoiler. The only thing I wasnt sure of was the curve in the rear on the trunklid. Do you have any rear shots?
Great color, great kit, great car.
IMO
Im torn btw the kami and the greddy + VSver2 spoiler.

To each his own. I'm getting a V1 lip kit because my wife scraped the stock bumper on a curb. We all have our reasons. BTW I still like the Nismo kit the best. Too expensive though. Haven't seen an after market Nismo that fits right yet. If anybody knows of one let me know.
