Just picked this thing up on ebay for $30....it came chrome so I sanded and painted it black. Currently it's just tie-wrapped on because the original mounting parts wouldn't work due to bumper modifications. The original owner cut out the factory grill area. At times I like the no grille, but I thought this might add something to the car. Let me know what you think:

 

Looks good. I think unless you have an intercooler keep it on for the most part. Although I do always like to change my look up a bit...

 

lets not talk about your grill and start talking about your headlight eyebrows!

 

I think the grille looks good, but I would paint the blue tabs and remove the eyelids.

 

 

thanks for the comments...and yeah, I've been iffy on the eyelids too. They've been on the car for a couple weeks and were only like $50

Estrogen will destroy this sort of thing in a NY minute. Don't ever let your girlfriend drive your car with it on. It needs a zipper or velco or something you can quickly detach it when she takes the wheel.

 

Those stickers need to go man.

I may take the 'i h8 speedbumps' decal off...like I said, I've been trying to do little things here and there to change the look of the car. The other sticker is actually covering a quite large spiderweb in the paint that I'm too cheap to get resprayed

 

I don't think it looks that bad at all, but I like your no grille setup better.

Im pretty sure the sticker is more noticable than the spider cracks in paint. lol
Never understood why people did that. Should i put smiley face stickers on all my rock chips then?

I normaly hate grills but given your situation i'd rock it.

I think it looks cheap.

 

I honestly don't think it looks half bad.

 

Grille = stay. Headlight eyebrows & stickers = remove.

 

I always liked black mesh. I actually get a lot of negative comments b/c I cut out my 06 grille to put mesh in.
