Sanding debris dripping all over the place. Plus all that shop dust will get into your carpets and interior panel crevices.

They were trying to give the car total loss and this is what they were willing to pay for.

Yes they are. I didn't get to take pictures before the started to apply the bondo, but they pulled the whole fender before filling the holes.

Getting the seats redone and new Brides as well. The carpet is getting replaced since they did pay for that.

Nope I'm on here. I'm on call during the weekends so it's hard to log on. Plus; I do have a life out of the forum ;-)

All getting replaced including the outer barrels of the wheels. I do however agree with everyone about the storage. I told the owner something about it and it was all removed on Saturday that I passed by.

why, get the seats redone when new brides are on the way?
and them paying for new carpet is not a reason to treat your cars interior like a monster jam arena.

Getting the wheels redone is no excuse to not take car of them either.

Are you really getting the $#!TTY end of the stick and don't want to admit it?
Not bashing just sounds kind of odd.

do like the wheels and the color choice though. you did good - body shop done bad.

Didn't get too since the car was getting totaled. I had to argue with the insurance so they wouldn't give it total loss. This was what I ended up with. I filled a compliant with the BBB as well as with the insurance company for sending it to such a shitty shop.

Getting the wheels redone is no excuse to not take car of them either. You can day that. I had no choice in choosing the body shop so I was given the end of the stick. I guess we would have to wait for the final product once they're done and why they're a State Farm shop

Agree with you; wheels are going up for sale soon. I've had them for about 4 months. EVERYTHING is getting replaced except for tires.

Thanks to everyone who's left positive posts. I'm well aware that they're F***ing up with a lot of stuff but I'm sure with the replacement of everything it should be fine.

no disassembly before paint? if my shop did that I would go ballistic.

(in reference to the door hardware)

i would bring your adjuster to the shop, throw a **** fit and get an attorney.

let them sell your car at auction bc it's basically ****ed for life.

you deserve a new/used car that's not damaged.

that's my word.

this isn't amateur hour.

Bunch of talking here with people that don't work for insurance companies or for body shops... The OP took the gamble when he refused to let the Vehicle be totalled !!! He has to live with the consequences and really can't demand to much more from the insurance company.... The shop looks like is not the most organized place but we shouldn't judge to harsh until the final product is delivered.... I hope this car comes out flawless and the OP is satisfied with all the final work... But if you are not... Plenty of people on this thread have warned you make sure to take more pics!!!!

Sketchy body shop right there, I don't care if your buying brides, cover that interior up!

The burnt orange seats could have went for a little bit of cash..., I would have just taken them out.
