Unless you are planning on putting a 1/4" thick steel plate under the car, you're not really going to be protecting it properly. Any plate that you attempt to cover the underside with is going to cause problems with engine bay cooling, exhaust/cats cooling, transmission cooling.
This is one of those cases where the obvious answer is the simplest one - raise the car. You have to tune your car for the environment it lives in.
plus something that thick would add a bunch of unwanted weight.

I live in Memphis,tn. And the roads around here are terrible. Potholes everywhere. Uneven bridges, just plain shitty city imo. My car is super slammed. And i have 19s with stretched tires. I hit/scrape everything. Haha. Yea it sucks. But i love my stance, so i just deal with it. And park before speed bumps and walk werever. Just the other day i was downtown and literally got stuck on some train tracks. Talk about scary. I ended up backing up and making it somehow. Haha. But yea, screw it man, just scrape.
Im a huge fan of a car being lowered but this is pushing it..
Heres the real question.... Do you have coilovers now, if so just raise it up?
There are NO springs on the market that dump a car that low... Tell me its not cut springs on stock struts!! Say it ain't so
