What are you going to mount them on?

I assume you will never use them while driving.

A few great choices here http://www.soloracer.com/harnessbelts.html Schroth and Corbeau may be great choices to run.

i'll most likely get a roll cage and hook them up to that.

Terra, those look like good affordable options. What do you think of G-Force harness? are they mostly just for competition use? some of my friends in NASA run 6 pt G-forces.

My car is getting FIA G Force harness once my rollbar and seat get here. An approved harness is an approved harness to me.

But without a roll bar i would get a Street harness, not a full race harness anyhow.

What would be the difference saftey wise between a 2" 4-point street vs. a 3" 4-point race harness (excluding attaching the crotch strap)? Both mounted to a bar (not cage), and on reclinable race seats, not pole position. (serious question, not being smartass)

I couldnt figure any difference besides alittle more holding power in a 3". I know the argument of must have a cage with pole position seats and harnesses due to breaking your neck or crushing you in a rollover but dont know if any difference btw a 3" belts competition or 2" belts street.
