Question Nismo Short Shifter Question

I recently bought a brand new Nismo short shifter from a reputable vendor. When I finally got the item, the nismo short shifter itself looks perfectly new and looks exactly the same as the other pictures I see in all the online vendor websites selling the same nismo short shifter. Therefore, I am sure I do have the correct nismo short shifter.

However, I also noticed that even though this IS the nismo short shifter, I did not see any nismo logo anywhere on the box or instruction papers or on the short shifter itself.

Typically, when you buy nismo japan products, the packaging box will usually have either the word nismo on it or it comes in a black paper box with nismo logo on it. But this nismo short shifter comes in a white box.
Even the instruction papers only says "Nissan 350Z adjustable short shifter".

I just want to confirm if that's how this nismo short shifter is suppose to be like that.

Thanks.

can you adjust it like the nismo height should be adjusted? if so i would say they probably took it out of the box to make sure all parts were there and re-boxed it.

Mine didn't have any "branding" on it either, and it came in a white box as well.

Yes, it's adjustable in 4 positions.

Any vendors here know why it doesn't come in nismo packaging?

That's because the NISMO short shifter isn't a NISMO Japan product. It is a Nissan Motorsports a.k.a. "NISMO USA" product that is manufactured by Mossy Performance.

They all come in white boxes and look like this...

My nismo short shifter seems to squeak when shifting into gear.
Only happens when the temperature gets cold, say below 8C.

The squeak goes away once the car warms up or if the outside temperature is warm.
Anyone have the same problem?

I will check with the shop to see if they greased it properly during installation.
