Look under the hood on the stamp with your vin. It will have your vin some other info and your paint code followed by interior color code. For blue its b17 then i believe my interior code was after that.

 

QX1 is the correct color code for Pikes Peak White.
I feel your pain. I have been there. Had to sue one body-shop. The second one did it perfectly.
Here is the problem.....
On light color car (PPW) using pearl in the paint is a three stage process.
First they lay down the white
Second they add the pearl
Third they clear coat

The white is easy enough to laydown but when you add the Pearl it has a color pigment of it's own. The person spraying the car has to match the amount of pearl exactly or you will have a different color of white than what you are looking for.
Generally the shop will want to feather larger portions of your body panels than you would expect to compensate for this color adjustment.

My advise.... find a good shop and then be patient. A good shop will work with you to tweak the paint job. After mine was done the right way, I had to go back in only once to have them feather-out a small section. The shop did not charge me for this adjustment.

thanks, i was just makin sure, cuz my dad's cousin is painting it for me and just told me to get the paint code (he painted adam saruwatari's nsx so i think he'll do a good job for only $50!!!). thanks again for the responses.
