Fitting a front bumper INSIDE the Z. Possible??
Wondering if anyone had any luck doing this or should I just rent something bigger?? It's about a 2 hour drive also...
Here's the piece...

This sounds exactly like something that I'd try to do.
I'd do my best to borrow a buddy's truck
If I was really pressed to get it back with just my Z (and feeling brave/lucky), I might try...
1) take your current front bumper off
2) zip tie the black padding to crash bar in front
3) drive up there making sure you:
- don't ride close behind anyone that might toss a rock up at your car
- don't hit anything
4) mount the new bumper
5) drive home
...but I've tried some dumb things before and sometimes they work out for me, and sometimes they don't. Your call.

Thats a pretty odd looking bumper, best of luck fitting it though. I'd just rent a Uhaul or get a friend to help you out with a bigger car. It would suck if you damaged it then you would have to do it all again.
nice Cwest bumper! i delivered my stock bumper to a buyer 2 hrs away as well. use bubble wrap and painter's tape. i maneuvered mine over my passenger seat folded down and laid it over the rear strut easily.

just can not close the hatch all the way.

the stock bumper fits just fine in the trunk. Ive fit my do luck bumper in the trunk, and the do luck has a bit of a nose, which sticks out much farther than the stock bumper, so I am sure that bumper should fit.
i say drive up there, swap bumpers, and stick your stock bumper into the z. that cwest one looks like it has some type of undertray that would make it hard for you to fit it in the Z. you'd look like a ricer honda rockin an unpainted front bumper but at least you'd get it home.
