@ZS14, yours don't look that bad. at least you color matched them. other guys just slap on the CF versions and expect to make their car look angry and aggressive when it ends up backfiring.

Completely colored matched eyelids enhance the appearance in my opinion... With other exterior mods it makes it look aggressive. Just my own 2 cents

OP, Eyelids are a simple mod, for an already elegant car. I had some on my RX8, but that car needed a lil aggressiveness in it's life! I'm glad they didn't stick, even though you had them color matched. Money for exhaust is best!

I did 3 things when looking for an exhaust: Youtube youtube youtube. Even google the exhaust you like, and it will often times have a youtube link with it. For me, I wanted something that was louder than stock, but did not mask the VQ sound at all. I went with the GReddy EVO II a little over 2.5 years ago, and I still love it. The only thing I have done with it is cut out the resonators to make it louder and still retain the original VQ-GReddy sound.

It was between the GReddy EVO II, the Bassani, and GReddy's TI C single. I love the HKS but it is an ALL too familiar set up on Zs. And LOTS of knock offs, making it SEEM less exclusive.

Major advice, listen to the video clip on YT, try to find someone locally that has it to listen to it in person. I have Bose speakers for my computer and even THEY don't do my exhaust justice. If possible, find a video with the exhaust under "load" ie driving rather than 4 minutes of them revving it in their mom's driveway!!!!!

Insert shameless exhaust video promotion

if they were flush to the hood, it wouldn't look so bad. but it looks stuck on in person.
