Default Custom Black Paint Options, suggestions

So due to half of my z getting vandalized recently and now needing body work and a repaint I've decided to just repaint the whole car. It's factory super black currently and I'm having the shop paint it black (overall paint is in bad shape anyways, previous owner neglected the car) Just would like some input/ideas and suggestions as to add pearl or some flakes to set it off a bit different. Appreciate the help guys.

How 'bout some gold or bronze flake with the Super Black paint. Or House of Kolor PBC102 Black gold.

my vote is for gold flakes, that baby's gonna sparkle in the sun, one thing I never like about black cars with aero is,its so hard to see details with the aero designs, plus blacks so hard to keep clean but back on subject

vote 1 for gold flake!

Saw some photos of the telesto gray looks pretty sick, it's got me thinking. We'll see, dropping by the bodyshop Thursday morning. Going to have go over the suggestions I've gotten so far

Sorry to hear about the Z getting vandalized.

Have you thought about another color, if I was able to get mine repainted I would go Nogaro Red rather than getting it painted black again. Thoughts?

Yeah kind of on the fence of painting the z a completely different color. Insurance is covering all vandalized/damaged areas (basically half the Z) painting the rest is coming out of my pocket. Jams/bay/etc.... with a completely different color would set me back another $1500-$2000 . Its still up in the air. Either way car is scheduled in about 2 1/2 weeks to be painted, so still got some time to think it through. thanks though and to everyone else so far for the help

Black base with blue pearl. Maybe a lighter shade of blue, almost teal? A little more translucent, too.

This is one of my dream colors. May be an option for the GTR, other than Lambo balloon white.

that looks very dark buish^

i was thinking more like the Acura B92P it looks black but at an angle of the light you can see blue pearls. doesnt necessarily have to be blue pearls. It can be swapped out.

if within budget: TELESTO GRAY

^ IF NOT

Then i'd vote for the black w/ gold flake/pearl

If the $ is the same then telesto gray > black&gold

It's a bit more blue than I wanted.

What I have envisioned is a black base with blue pearl/. So subtle that it looks black, but when you get up close, the sun shining shows a blue tint, almost in the clear coat appearance. Maybe mix pearl with the top clear coat?

Did a test piece a long time ago on a random piece of plastic. Turned out beautiful.

well thats exactly what the b92p does. Its called nighthawk black pearl. Its a factory color also.you just mix the black with blue pearl and shoot.

Stopped by the autobody shop today, discussed paint options. Looks like I might be going with the telesto gray after all. Actually noticed one of the members here on my350z has a his z painted almost a similar/close color, user name Rubicant. Anyways is scheduled now to go in about 2 1/2 weeks, I'll keep everyone posted.

I had my first ride repainted with a tri-stage. Flat white base, royal blue pearl, then clear over the top. It was actually a play off of a Lexus OEM option (white w/ gold). I love the way a tri-stage pearl changes entire panels according to the light and viewing angle. Doesn't give a 'flaky' appearance but the blue would absolutely light up at the right angles.

However, a friend of mine did a black w/ red version and the mid-coat makes the black look somewhat hazy/milky.

This is similar to my white/blue.
