Default 350Z visual enhancements - part 2

reused Z of shaved 350Z rear badge and placed in cubby hole.
custom cut vinyl headlight overlays to cover amber strip. integrated 3 dot design into them.
Z concept amber leds wrapped in vinyl since I couldn't find silver housings.
JDM spec led tail lights replaced old incandescent tail lights.
stealth turn signal bulbs added front and rear.

The only thing i'm not feelin is the headlight vinyl. Just my opinion.
I prefer the regular eye lids. I know it's not very 'unique' or 'original', but the eye lids make the Z look meaner.
But everything else looks great

no worries. to each his own right? =)

thanks for the comments. I was in deliberation of the overlays or eyelids. I was going to do the eyelids that contour to the hood, but I think it only looks best if someone has a body kit to go with it, imo. I had something similar to Bat's chrome overlay but thought it was too much chrome vinyl, on top of the conflicting finish surfaces of the headlight and vinyl. that's when i decided to go with covering up just the amber strip but add a little something to it.

I stuck with the amber look since I love the combination of silver and amber/orange, and the interior lighting is still the stock amber color. The Z just needed some tlc in the cosmetics department.

A bit much...I like the brushed silver z.
Not a fan of LEDS..look like stuff guys do on CIVICS.
your strut bar is nice.I prefer a Carbon fiber cover with Z cut out.
Don't know the durability of vinyl...try to wrap your outside mirrors..I've done mine in CF.
Hint...put a insert in the "tray" under the 3rd brake light...maybe a brushed silver to match your emblem.

thanks for the complement.

actually the vinyl cost me nothing since I work at a large format printing company and we use cut vinyl here and there. took measurements and comps to make sure things lined up correctly.

the tail lights ran me $250 used and the amber leds were $50.

Surprisingly I paid $45 for both the front and rear satin Z badges. Some guy out of Chicago on ebay i got them from.

I try to find the best deals possible, especially when I can do something on my own.

I know. I thought the same thing. Just kept looking and found a good deal. Same goes for my LED tail lights. Patience is a virtue.
