Default Sparco seat reviews

I am interested in purchasing a Sparco seat and I am currently debating between the Sparco Fighter w/ lumbar pads or the Sparco 00887 Corsa Comp seat. I'm looking mainly for other members who currently run or have run these seats in their Z and their reviews from the daily driving to long haul drives to SCCA and track event point of views. I am a 5'9 and 165 lbs individual with a 32" waist. Any help or input would be greatly appreciated.

nice seat choices. i don't own these sparcos but what exactly will you be using your Z for? daily driving, long drives or scca track days? according to your body size i assume you would fit fine.

if you get racing seats/aftermarket please do not get ones that are adjustable. thats what your stock seats are. and they put minimal testing in the adjustable ones they are purely for comfort not driving experience. i am about your size and i find fixed race seats the most comfortable of any seat. ithey are extremely supportive everywhere. again if you get aftermarket seats get fixed ones or go home/ stay stock. adjustable sparcos are super poser and lame + defeat the purpose of aftermarket seats. just keep your stock ones for when you want to lean back in your sports car.

@boomerz33: The Z is mainly going to be used for SCCA auto-x and any open events that happen to come up here on Oahu. The closest to daily driving will just be weekend meets with the local car club here.

I'm leaning more towards the Corsa Comp's just for the drivers side just because it seems to be the best bang for the buck and gets the job done compared to Bride's and Status seats. But back to the topic though, Sparco's are a great brand and for those who have known their fixed back seats before (or these two), any input as far as comfort and the ability to hold the driver?

Just don't get their entry level seat. It used to be the Sparco Sprint; not sure what they call it now.
Its OK for track-only use, but for street driving it is miserably uncomfortable.
I thought about changing to another model, but now that I trailer my car rather than drive it to the track, it doesn't matter so much.
I guess its just another example of you get what you pay for!!!!!

Give me a call. I can get Sparcos shipped to HI for way cheaper than most.
