2003 DB paint question

2003 DB paint question
I wanted to know I seen some sights call it just plain DB, and other call it DB pearl metal?
I am confussed, is this a 2 stage or 3 stage paint job with pearl?

the DB B17 paint code is a pearl metallic color. it has metallic or aluminum and then it has Xirallic pearls which are very scarce and expensive and the moment.
edit also depending on which paint matching systems is being used they might as for a undercoat. but probably wouldnt consider it a three stage. That just depends on the painter skill and techniques.

It's classified as a "clear pearl metallic".
