this film tint stuff goes over the outside of the entire headlight, right??? well, will it have any effect on the lighting of the HIDs?? meaning, will the HIDs still look like HIDS. and will the heat of the HIDs melt or make the film fade?? sorry for all the questions.

Good question, I'm not sure. The Overlays hold up really well in the heat, but I'm not certain about the heat from HID's. I'll need to contact my supplier on that issue.

Where are the pictures of the Yellow Tint!!!! I torn between the smoked (goes good with Silver Stone) or the Yellow (GT race style) Could you post some pictures of the yellow please.

Aslo, can you take the overlays off with out hurting your head lights?

I don't have pics of the yellow in on the headlights. I can take a pic of the actual tint and post it up if you'd like.

I've done several Overlays on the headlights without any problems getting them off.

sorry. but one more question:
is this film thick and durable enough to withstand rock chips and other road debris?? i'm a little concerned about little holes or knicks that might hit the overlay and would the light output then be uneven. thanks!!

The transparent Vinyl I use is pretty thick. I've had rocks hit my headlights when I had the Overlay on my Celica. It made a mark, but didn't rip it. It's like the thickness of the clear masks.

Yeah that would be cool if you could post that. Or if you have pictures of it on a different car.

Second question: Would it be posible to to use the housing black outs and the all over tint together? Smoked tint I mean

Bat, how difficult is this to install? I am not a pro tint person, so what about air bubbles, etc.?

Take your time when installing. I try to make my Overlays as user friendly as possible. The great thing about my Overlays is you DON'T have to remove your take anything apart to apply them! A big plus in my book. Instructions come with all my Overlays, soap and water is best when applying.

The standard tint isn't all that dark, just appears to be in some pics because the angle at which the light is hitting the Overlay. I'm looking foward to seeing this kit in standard finish, should look sharp, so email me if you'd like a set.

Yes, if you get tired of it down the road, you can remove it.

very nice!

Bat - I really like the full tint on your celica w/ the cutout for the projector light... do you think you could try that on the Z? With circular cutouts for the headlight and signal light?

or maybe just a cutout for the headlight? you're the expert on this so i'm sure you'll know which looks best...
