i also fear it wont hold up in some spots without primer, even if just for a couple weeks, (opinions please)
you saying this cause its really hard to remove with primer, or it will leave me with a mess of glue to have to take back off?
yeah dinoc should cost you THAT much but yeah once its strretched, its not very sticky.. odd for a vinyl.. its its own animal..
you could use primer, but it holds VERY well, and youd have to sand past it again to remove.. OR... i sweart man.. plastidip it black, use 4 to 5 coats and its SUPER high hiding, ie covers scratches.. and peels off later on.. yet is 100% durable.. its freaky stuff.. i used to read the noob threads and just facepalm.. then i dug in and read about the stuff.. its suuuuper legit and solves a TON of automotive problems.. its even usefull for a removeable primer over chrome on wheels so they become paintable.. crazy eh?
they actuall have a camo kit on another topic.. and dipyourcar.com sells the individual colors.. flat army green deep lip wheels w black hardware in my future? yes please.
Check it out man, its really handy stuff AND its avail at home depot for 6 bucks a can..

Great to see you're still at it. I remember that you were gutting the back of your car for the back seat idea at the same time that I was gutting my roadster for a custom speaker setup. I may follow your lead again once I'm ready for the cage to go back in this one. I love your work, man. Please, please, please find me at ZDayz. I'd love to swap ideas and talk shop about the interior with you.

That's some sick work. I tried making a front lip last summer and never got around to finishing it. It's fun working with formular form, just impossible to find here in Cali.
SparkleCityHop..... Absolutely, we gotta meet up. just got me a banner made so im sure u will be able to find me at some point.
ya it was definitely interesting, can't say I really loved it, but cool in the fact that you really can create anything. Oh and next time I will be ordering the proper foam from the interwebz. i even have the blue foam which is slightly better but still not ideal.
cmcurran5.... if someone else wants to figure out the electronics behind all that, visually I can fabricate it all. Always open to collaboration ideas... if they are plausible and make sense.
