jackson, whereabouts can you pick up that moldable foam? im doing a few things to my infiniti and need some greatly!

 

you'll laugh but i don't know yet (still currently researching?) Other than the ones i have, pink house insulation foam, and the blue (high density) i got from a client, im clueless. I know there's something better out there, cuz i've seen them use it on various custom car tv shows, and other builds online.

seriously carving parts out of foam isnt all that easy, wood skeletons and fiberglass come together quick!

edit: i actually have found some products online, but haven't tried any so can't comment. ill pm you....

you sir are pretty amazing with the stuff you do, actually makes my center console i modified for more guages look like crap lol

 

i cut off the left side piece but that's pretty much how its gunna sit till i get back from zdayz. But as soon as I get back im getting this thing wrapped in real carbon fiber and finishing this project.

sure bummed i didn't finish it before zdayz tho.

looks like you wont be able to open the passengers side air vent

 

this is slightly true, will elaborate on it later..... but its really only the tab to move the vents thats in the way, and only by hundredth of and inch.

 

possible to shave down the addition or would it be too fragile?

Great talking to you at ZDayz. I wish that I'd had more time to hang out and chat with you and your dad, but with the car issues, I stayed pretty busy the whole time. She's home and running again, so I'm going to have to find an excuse to attend an event near you this year so we can hang out again.
