Default CF Wrapped Steering Wheel?

Thinking about getting a cf dash kit and getting cf tape to wrap on my steering wheel like this

Gotta admit CF on a steering wheel looks cool.I sure have my share of CF in my interior&exterior. But,wrapping the part of the wheel that you steer with may LOOK good but really does'nt work for me.Same reason why cars like Ferrari,Lamborghini don't use it on the steering surface. They make the wheel assembly out of CF.The steering surface is usually leather or,alcantara/suede for grip.

I'd agree it does look cool if done well. +1 on the grip portion being some sort of material. I'd hate to be on a canyon run or whatever with sweaty hands and lose grip on the carbon fiber!! Reminds me of this thread: https://my350z.com/forum/exterior-an...el-pics-2.html

His wheel looks brilliant!
