Bride Replica Brackets?
first, not all seats have the same mounting hole locations, so one manufacturers base does not automatically fit another manufacturers seat
Genuine Bride bases have the sliders integrated into them for the reclining seats. That, and the fact that they fit the car perfectly are part of why they cost what they cost

Not a history leason on why a manufacturer makes seats. Mine came with integrated sliders if you didnt see...
Let me add by saying I am a deployed soldier and yes deployment pay is nice, but outting money aside for future life investments is even nicer. I'm building my Z on a budget and Legit Brides are out of my price range, so these ones from taiwon are good enough for me...Plus, My opinion is the only one's who counts
Yes yours came with integrated sliders as I can see. Then why aren't they in your car yet? Because presumably they didn't come with bases for a 350Z. Bride bases for the genuine versions of the seats pictured already come with integrated sliders. Other manufacturers use a modular setup, so the base and slider are 2 separate pieces, sold separately. Sparco, Wedge, Corbeau, and I'm sure others. That, and, Bride bolt hole spacing is not necessarily the same as other seat manufacturers. Use the info, don't use the info, doesn't matter to me.
As for the Wedge bases, maybe for a Z they work great - can't say, I've never used them on this car. But, I've tried to use them on numerous cars in the past, and every time, they were a nightmare and didn't fit well at all.

"Dude", just because it's your thread, doesn't mean that someone who might know what they are talking about can't help correct several of the errors that have been posted thusfar. Did I give a history lesson on why a manufacturer makes seats? Or did I post actual facts about the very bases you're asking about?

I got authentic bride brackets for my seats but for a different car for a awesome price. Then I went to a local speed shop and had them take the brackets and make them fit the z but when modifying them had them make them sit lower. I am 6'1 and if they hadnt made them lower I wouldnt have been able to sit in the car with my helmet on.
Seat then sliders then less then a 1/4 inch of drop on the brackets that mount to the floor

EmpireDude - your harness install, at least the visible part, is scary. The lap belts should be installed to the factory seatbelt locations, ie the b pillar

Eeekkk at those harnesses. This thread has some bad info, and Adam was just trying to help.
I don't know why people buy fake Brides, other than they can't afford authentic. Either way hopefully we dont see crushed spines in the future.

I'm not trying to be rude or anything, but this thread is scary at best.
1st off, knock off seats? Do you guys not care about your safety at all? I understand being on a budget but you can get OMP seats for the cost of fake Brides. OMP manufactures FIA certified seats, so they know how to build a safe seat and they have good quality control. OMP is one of the top brands in Europe. Your fake Brides are built by some random factory in Taiwan that probably has NO FIA certification experience and may not care much about quality control.
And EmpireDude, your harness install is frightening. Please take a look at that link that Z1 posted. It should help you get your harnesses installed SAFELY.
I'm not trying to be rude or turn this into a replica vs real thread, I'm just concerned that you guys haven't thought about the safety aspect here. Also, I'd really hate for someone to come across this thread and copy the unsafe stuff in here.

Im not worried about being in an accident. I know that sounds cocky but I am not one to drive like a moron. I will admit that I did when I had my srt4 but I didnt care. I picked up the Z for 14k cash and have never beat it or drove it like a raped date. Safety is a concern, but Seats are seats imo. Its all a learning process I understand this.
The advice you guys giving me to correct my mistakes is greatly appreciated though and will be taken into consideration. But for now since I am no Baller, fake works for me untill real ones.
if your life worth saving a few hundred bucks, then so be it.
+1 on every one of Vivid's points..
but anyways..
skip the wedges. they're stupid high in the Z after sliders and side mounts. since you saved so much on replica bride seats, you can spend that money on some custom brackets to get the seat properly situated in the car...

Thought everyone I've talked to have said the Bride Brackets are the best bet to go. They dont sit high and leave more than enough room for someone 6'2 as myself
