Question Where do you guys get alcantara installed?

Where should I look if I want it custom installed?
Or is it a diy simple job? I want an alcantara
headliner with diamond stitching and an alcantara dash.
I don't want to go to any old shop.
I live in Illinois. I want to find a shop that specializes in custom auto
upgrades and engine mods etc.

Yes I am new to this

Should be able to do this one yourself. Some of the threads regarding audio installs would probably be a useful jumping-off point.

DIY?

unless you have experience, i would highly NOT reccomend this to a novice,
Its actualy quite difficult to do correctly and cleanly.

Especially if you want diamond? Unless you are already a pro upholsterer and sewer, you need to go to an auto upholstery shop for a quote.

Terrible advice.

Here comes some good advice...

Jump in front of a moving bus at the last second.

Have a good day.

Do it yourself? Not with real alcantarra... Especially diamond stitching it.

Just Google upholstery shops in your area. You should easily find some shops that have show car experience. Don't be afraid of going to a shop that only does classics either, their work will be just as good (if not better) than import specialists.
