wow, should've went to auto explosion. You have overspray everywhere and it looks like they're taking a lot of shortcuts...

this is a better example of masking... take everything off the car and cover the whole wheel well

this...

turned into this..

dvo - Unfortunately Auto Explosion was not an option this time around for various reasons. I will see how this turns out. The bumpers were all off when the actual paint was applied to the car. I was there this past Sunday to check progress. As for why they were still applied for the primer part I can't say. All I know are my conversations with Leo hence while I will not get it until this Saturday. He wants to make sure everything is right.

mr. sparco - Yeah I noticed that it was resprayed after I had purchased it. In fact there was still masking tape on the license plate lights with overspray.

I would have loved to keep the Interlagos Fire, but unfortunatley like I said it was only on the roof area. Every other panel of the car was only burgendy/maroon with no change in color at all. Leo even said he would try to match it, but in a moment of insanity I said no. So I went with something that fit my personality.

I am not looking for show car finish, but something that will look good when I take my car out.

talked to rubicant and waizzz and they mentioned something about them being booked up for the time being. If i were you, I would've just scheduled for an appointment. When it comes to paint and body, never settle for something or go with who can take your car in right away. I think we've all seen too many threads of bad body shop experiences. Rushed/cheap body work really does show "rushed/cheap body work" I mean if a shop is booked up for a couple weeks that must mean a good thing right?

Good luck with your car.

Hello all!!!

Ok got the car back. No lawyer lol. I am going back to get a few minor things fixed and I am not on blast mode for the shop. Will be going back on Saturday to discuss a few things. Nothing even close to Rubicant situation and all things that can easily be fixed I believe. As for now I will show you what I have. Pics aren't the best as my camera is not charged and somewhere under my bed.

Looks good, OP. And as a Clemson Tigers fan, I'm really digging the color choice!

Areas that I would love to see some better pictures are:

1) Hood raised
2) Door opened
3) Hatch opened
4) Detailed pic of side skirts to see black/orange line
5) Detailed pic where spoiler connects to hatch

Also, is that vinyl on the headlights or nightshades? Purely my opinion, but I think that the bi-xenon headlights look better with the headlight insides painted instead of tinting the glass (plus the headlights remain 100% functional).
