. My Nismo has 3,400 miles on her, still has the rubber shipping inserts in the suspension springs(being removed this weekend at the Nissan dealer btw)... Going to get a multipoint inspection and 3k mile service on Saturday. She still smells new, unmodified, unmolested never been raced, beat on or drifted...
I could have one of lowest mileage Nismo's in the country.. .
I have zero intentions of ruining her!
someones sounds like there scared to drive there car
o my lanta... i would NEVER add a sunroof to a vehicle that didn't originally come with it... your going to open a big can of worms that isn't needed when they make a convertible.

Nope not afraid at all. I got the car roughly two weeks ago and I have prob. put about 150miles on it. After the multipoint inspection, 3k miles service is done and the weather turns for the better I will certainly drive it more. Tis not my only car.

(And please if you all think I would really put a sunroof on this car you are Coo Coo!)..
Did the person you got it from drive it with the spring holders still on it?
If you do anything to the Nismo that is not reversible you will be shunned from the Nismo community just so you know.
I believe the previous owner drove with them in, not realizing. The Orig. Nissan dealer should have removed them when they sold the car. When I found the car on Autotrader I had a feeling that they were left in based on the low miles.
Also when I bought my second 280zx (with 59,000miles on her at the time) I took it straight to the Nissan dealer for tuneup and multipoint inspection
only to find out that rubber blocks were still installed on that car, ha.. Back
then they were more like blocks vs what the look like today. Needless to say when the dealer gave them to me they were pretty dry/hard!
Yes thank you for pointing that out. But I can really give a rats--you know what about being shunned etc, etc. What I am concerned with is the value of the car, and I will not do anything permanent to effect that. I am all about keeping things "stock" to a point.

so you think cutting a hole in the top is going to preserve retail value?!?!
