Body panel VIN stickers
Was just informed that my 03 should have facotry stickers on all removable body panels to show originality. I've owned my z for 8yrs, never been painted or accident, and have detailed my car every month and I've never seen these stickers. The guy was VERY sure that these stickers exist. Anyone know about this?

If you're talking about what I'm thinking, I have them on my 08 but it was something extra. They don't just automatically have them. They're stickers that supposedly etch the paint, that way someone can't just part the car out. I think they're on my body, hood and trunk.
Nope. The VIN number is on the dash visible through the windshield and the back firewall in the engine compartment. Some dealers sell "VIN etching" where somebody will put your vin number on all major components - supposedly to keep them from being stolen and re-sold as easily.
My '08 has them, but they look dealer-installed. I forget the name of the company that sells them, but they can even etch the glass if desired. Allstate asked about them when I applied online for our car insurance a few years back, and I think we got a tiny discount.
