Does anyone know if the MT shifter ring and boot fit the AT console? If so, is it two seperate items to order or is it just one?

 

i am not sure if this is what you are intending to do, but here is a thread of a person who put a momo **** and boot on the 5at using the stock 5at ring.

That is exactly what i am trying to do. I order the Momo **** and should have it before the weekend. I will go that route if need be, but if the MT ring and boot will just pop it, i would prefer to do that. Anyone know?

 

don't mean to troll, but i never understood the motivation behind this... putting MT boots on AT shifters... who are you trying to fool? yourself? or the on-lookers?

Why would i be trying to "fool" anyone? It's my car, the only one i need to please is ME. As for the answer I simply like the look. Plus there is a absolutely stunning CF console at Performance Nissan but it is a manual setup. If they interchange it is something i would like to save for.
