guy bought the car used...I've seen FAR FAR worse " previous owner" nightmares..this is a simple fix.I've had vertical doors on my car once..it happens..ppl learn..their mods change n mature.

Too many immature people on this site that think its cool to act like idiots. It will never change though. I guarantee most of the people that act this way online wouldn't even talk at all if they were at a meet.

 

Don't post pics on a forum if you can't handle the good with the bad. That being said, I had that lip before, and was well worth the price. But the scoop look was a little much for me after a while. It's a nice temporary touch I'd say. Definitely look at upgrading down the road. And the hole in the bumper... well I have nothing nice to say about it, so I'll keep it to myself. Over all, nice car.

 

if it fell off its due to the guy installing it wrong. and in an accident any aftermarket lip will be prone to flying off as their all usually jus 3m tape in the middle and 2 screws at each end. only oem lips have all the extra bolts and fasteners to make the lip super secure. it has nothing to do with "you pay for what you get man"

 

Exactly. I like your car overall. I was concentrating on your lip which was the main reason you posted. The black-PPW combo is great. However, the fact that some don't agree with your taste does not make them idiots. Just learn to accept criticism.

If you buy 06 fender liners and all the parts for the bumper (diffuser, etc.) there are no fitment issues.

Not sure if he was talking about the V2 I have or the V3. V2 replicas's differ... you have the fiberglass replicas (I have VIS) that need some tlc to fit good but nothing you can't do yourself or a body shop can do. 03-05 will need 06+ fender liners as they are wider...

I like it. I dd my z and I'm contemplating on a carbon lip but for the price and the beating it's going to take I'll def. consider it. As far as all the negativity on this tread. There is a proper way of stating your opinion without insulting and then there's acting like a jackass with idiotic remarks. Also don't worry about it flying off. If it's properly secured and installed it should last a good while.
