Rear Diffusers *ideas from other cars*

i went to the LA autoshow this weekend with 1 goal in mind: take as many underbody images of every sports car possible! reason? ideas for our own 350z diffuser project..

The Carrera Step Diffuser is like an aircraft we tested in the late 60's at Edwards FTC at Muroc Dry Lake Bed. Very NACA and all that. The idea was to create a low pressure zone.
Please check out some of the Northrop aircraft of the 60's and 70's they made the subject very clear. The M2F2 lifting body crash pictures were filmed by your's truly ! The Northrop pilot Petterson was flying the next month after crash.

The Carrera Step Diffuser is like an aircraft we tested in the late 60's at Edwards FTC at Muroc Dry Lake Bed. Very NACA and all that. The idea was to create a low pressure zone.
Please check out some of the Northrop aircraft of the 60's and 70's they made the subject very clear. The M2F2 lifting body crash pictures were filmed by your's truly ! The Northrop pilot Petterson was flying the next month after crash.

how convient that i work at edwards. heh. we have alot of aircraft here, and i have alot of friends that are helping me with my rear diffuser designs..
did you know a Thomas McMurtry? (retired director for Nasa Dryden) but he flew alot of the Xplanes and the lifting body- i work with his son now. heh.im pretty sure he knows you
he always wore the light blue helmet..
