dont run from the chargespeed! you know you want them. plus, your setup is kind of similar to mine.

Yours looks great, no doubt. But for some reason my car looks nowhere near as aggressive as yours, and I'm not sure the chargespeed sides would solve that. Plus with how low those things hang, I'd be worried about scraping every goose turd in the corporate park on my way in to work.

i think you can pull them off. just get the frp sides so its easily repairable!

however, for the price the roush sides sound tempting indeed

Well the thing is, I want to have continuity between the CF front lip and rear diffuser, so I'm pretty set on CF sides. Plus, the problem with having pearl black paint is that it's tough to run flat black (i.e. unpainted FRP) trim pieces. Pretty much any other color could pull it off, but I always feel it's color matched, CF, or nothing on gloss/pearl black paint.

BTW are yours FRP or carbon? Your pictures are always very color saturated so I can never tell. Blends well with the rear diffuser at any rate.

I'm going to see what TPete posts, but at the moment I'm leaning toward the Roush option.

its weird how a few members have used mustang parts to put onto our chassis. gt500 rear diffuser, sides, rear side window covers

The Roush sides seem like a really good idea. It's sort of like how the VW guys use Seat Cupra R lips on everything.

Although I feel like there is a possibility you might be upset with the way they looked if they weren't completely straight (at least it would bug me after a while). Tough decisions!

The ones I was looking at are for 2011 Mustang, which I believe is the same body 2010-2013. They won't fit directly on the Z supposedly....need to trim about an inch off to match the length of the Z side skirt.

Here's one of many places to buy them (search "2011 roush side splitter"):

Yeah I know what you mean. I'm still deliberating on this. The one unknown for me is how the 3M CF wrap will look on the roush pieces. Never done anything like that before.

I've got 3M scotchprint on interior parts and it looks nothing like the real thing. On its own, it looks good. But next to real CF, you can tell from a mile away.

And here's a quick side shot of my Downforces I took today.

very interesting, i've been looking for something like this. depending on if you do it sry, I might as well. Or I might try it out first. I'd have to ditch my mudguards tho prob, and then would have to find something to do with the rear. like someone said earlier though, these would look awesome with my stillen splitter. :/ decisions decisions..

@ Duckeee, could you do me a favor and measure how much the chargespeed sides hang below the side skirts, front and rear? I want to compare it to the veilside side wings to gauge how much of a headache they would be. Thanks in advance..

Nice man. I've been studying these vs the DownforceUSA sides, and ultimately I like the Roush better. Looking forward to seeing them on your car. Are you painting/wrapping, or leaving unpainted?

I will mount them first and then decide. Just repainted my lip flat black, so will prob do the same for the sides. Adding 15 mm spacers and a bumper tuck while im at it. Should be a rather noticable improvement.
