so ive been searching for these past days on if i can do this mod and havent seem to find the answer i need, i did come by a thread that had good info but the pictures were not working so i might as well post here.

Okay so my general question is can i relocate the passenger side glove box door, to the driver side? As in take the driver side panel off, put the glove box door behind the driver seat and put the blank panel where the original glove box is (passenger side).

Will the glove box door from the passenger side be a direct fit for the driver side?

I find it to be way more convenient and i really want to do this.

So can anyone answer this question for me?

P.S, i have a 2004 base model if it matters
Also can anyone walk me through removing the glove box door on the passenger side? I tried myself but didnt want to break anything

 

no they mirror shapes of each other i believe.

i has extra glove box, im sure you could mod it, and have 2

 

Requires minor trimming to do, i flipped mine because of the cross bar on my roll bar

 

mine was a direct drop in replacement for the most part.. i dont even recall trimming anything lol.

glovebox door on psngr side? flat screwdriver and pull, ur not going to break a thing.
