Hello when I purchased my 04 350z it didn't come with a cigarette lighter. So I tried a cigarette lighter from a BMW 7 series, Mercedes, and one from another car. Yet all 3 of them didn't work.

I tried a Belkin USB port thingy and it worked fine so I don't think it's a car problem.

Anyone know whats wrong?

 

It sounds like your car doesn't want you to smoke in it... But you should try to use one from another Nissan

I thought they were pretty universal, but I've had some cell phone car-chargers not work well in my 12v socket. Contacts seem to be positioned a little differently in ours.
