Default How to bypass cruise control?

Ok I really want a new aftermarket steering wheel. But the thing that is stopping me from doing it. Is the cruise control, I know the cruise control is like hook up to the ECU , Or the throttle sensor. So the question is, Can I like bypass it without messing up the ECU or throttle sensor?

Like get a copy of the like service manual and like do a little like reading.

My GUESS is that the ECU will be OK if you turn the CC to OFF before you remove the OEM steering wheel. At worst, you'd get a CEL, but you can cover that up with a little piece of black tape.

I would leave the wheel with airbag on a daily driven car.

Yeah seriously, why would you not want an airbag? People ask me why do I wear a leather jacket on hot days when riding my motorcycle. My responce.... You can't pick the day you crash.

+1, the z wheel is more than aesthetically pleaseing, and decently sized. should you truly want to get some racecardrifterhardparkingim****ingawesome wheel, simply relocate the cc button to one of the empty spots near your left knee. just my preference
